can we remove this ridiculous 100 polygons limit for manual selections?

if i download the whole admin level 8 of a country, i can obtain up to 35k polygons in a single shot (ex. France)

however, for "mouse selections", there's this uncomprehensible 100 polygons limit that would make impossible to download for example the level 8 of Brittany (a small fraction of the aforementioned whole of France download)

i love this website and the work you put in it..... except for THAT

i'd love to see a change for this because i really can't understand the reasons if not an oversight. it really makes impossible working with anything that is not a country (even if way smaller) or has extremely few subdivisions
